The club is a welcoming and inclusive environment where lifelong friendships are formed, and newcomers are always encouraged to join. Rowing is more than a sport here; it's a way to connect, grow, and celebrate community spirit.
From Source to Sea

Following the River

The River Barrow is central to our club’s identity. From its source in the Slieve Bloom Mountains to its meeting with the sea at Waterford Harbour, this majestic waterway has provided the perfect setting for training, competition, and leisure rowing. Our members have honed their skills on its waters for generations, ensuring that the legacy of rowing in New Ross continues to grow.
